Course Content and Duration

Course content will be tailored to meet the client’s specific needs. Needs will be determined based on an interview between CleanHealth and the client representative. Taking into consideration the following, the needs assessment will determine the content, length (e.g., 4 hours, 16 hours, etc.) and delivery method of the course:

  • Status of facility’s current policies and procedures (P&P)
  • Breadth of facility’s current P&P
  • Extent of needed integration of facility’s current P&P into this training program
  • Types of training currently provided to employees (e.g., OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Training, Facility Specific P&P Training, etc.)
  • Degree of training needs based on employee roles and responsibilities (e.g., basic training for certain staff versus more detailed training for staff with direct responsibility for cleaning and disinfection procedures)

Training may include cleaning simulations, classroom presentations, video presentations, interactive “hands-on” exercises, and resource handouts. A brief multiple-choice examination will be presented at the conclusion of the course, with successful examinees receiving a Certificate of Achievement.
